Let us know how they sound together.
A Tele into a Harvard, a most righteous old school tradition.

Gorgeous. It is fun to follow this bugger from idea to guitar. Can't wait to see it finished.

Sweet. Groovey is one lucky bastid! What is the top coat you are letting cure? A couple weeks seems like a long time with modern finishes.
I like your shop too, very cozy. I'm shooting to get my own shop down to a more manageable size like this.

It's McFaddens nitro. You can buff it out after as little as a week but I find two weeks is a good minimum for me. I would rather let it cure for 4 weeks but Groovey is dying to get this guitar in his hands!
Thanks for the compliment on my shop. It is just about as "cozy" as I can stand. It's in a perpetual state of disarray but when I clean I can't find anything.

That's what my Mom used to call me you little bastard, I'd Reply Whats that make you?
 ..... .....
True story
A couple of weeks is not too long on a Nitro Cellulose Finish. I had the pleasure of playing a git that was sanded down between coats every month it was smooth as glass and had 36 coats.
Three years he worked it smooth as a babies butt

Jay if it takes four weeks let it be, I got the time to wait ... what the hell.
Time cures all ills
it looks like a tobacco sunburst covering the rosewood veneer
We sure have made a few turns along the road
I like it

Wish everyone could come over and play through my Harvard amp, because this description is exactly right!
