The last thing I got done today was routing for the truss rod. The neck is getting a two-way rod with the adjustment at the heal. All I had to do was set up the router with the right size bit and cut the slot on center using an edge guide.

HEY..........Ain't nothing wrong with the truss rod.

But I really messed up on the fret markers! I've messed up plenty of other things but that's the first time I did that.

Shoot... Nobody looks at dem dots anyways!
Well... maybe at a jam/open mike! Double dots at the 9th might make for some interesting avant garde textural soundscapes...

You're doing some really great looking work. Keep the pictures coming.

I do have to go on record now as saying I'm not a fan of those particular truss rods for the simple reason that they require so much wood removal under the nut.

Not to mention that Jr's were set necks so recessing the neck plate ( regardless of thickness ) gives you the same smooth flowing ascetic look
