How did the amp story turn out?

It wasn't bad caps. He did replace them, but the problem didn't go away. It wasn't the OT ... he replaced it, but the problem didn't go away.

Then Pete found a loose wiring connection on the back of the board that was causing the problem. He neatened up the wiring a little, sent it back, and it's a monster now. All the shipping was on his dime for the fix.

Seriously, I don't even play the AC30 anymore.

I had intended to create a stereo rig between the AC30 and the 5E3, but I love the Deluxe so much now that it is all I play. The AC30 hasn't' been turned on in a couple weeks.
