That's the beauty of the whole thing. The loops will be controlled by an ultra-cool control box on the floor, with a staggered row of 16 bypass switches. I can't turn off a single pedal on a shelf while playing, but it will be totally easy to switch loops in the middle of a song.
This "looper" (I prefer my term "control box" because of the confusion with a pedal that makes loops of songs) is really the heart and soul of this crazy plan. It cost more than expected, but it will make the thing work.
